 Curtis Manor

83 Curtis Avenue

Curtis Manor is a 24-hour care Level IV Rest Home, located just one block north of Main Street at the corner of Curtis Avenue and John Street. Our staff provides assistance with medications and daily living activities in a warm, safe, and stimulating environment. Private and semi-private rooms are available, many with private baths. All our staff are Certified Nursing Assistants or higher and provide exceptional care. They can arrange rehabilitation and laboratory service to be provided right at the facility. Many long time Dalton residents are now calling Curtis Manor their home. They are generally ambulatory or adept at using a wheel chair and continue to be active in their community.

Curtis Manor Cottages are separate residences that have their own kitchens and provide greater independent living. Each cottage has an emergency call system connected to the Main House for 24-hour availability of professional assistance. Both the Main House and Cottages are maintained by the same staff and include full dining room service, housekeeping service, and an activities program.

Owner Jo Danforth and the rest of the Danforth family welcome visitors to tour and see the home. As they enter their sixth year, they look forward to continuing their service to the residents of Dalton and the other communities.
